Where Big Ideas Are Born.

California is home to innovation, where big ideas are born, and progress is made. From the Bay Area to Los Angeles, we work with clients to dream up big, bold ideas and help them become reality through policy, media narratives, business innovation, and cultural shifts. Then, we take those ideas to the national stage.

With offices in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area, Raben’s California team provides a full suite of public affairs and communications services across key sectors of society — including business, government, philanthropy, and civil society.

Clients hire us for our expertise in strategic communications, brand positioning, issue advocacy, coalition building, third-party engagement, public policy analysis and forecasting, and advancing diversity, inclusion, and equity within organizations.

Since 2005, our California-based team has been crafting solutions that make a difference. We’ve made inroads and won key policy victories in criminal justice reform, tech policy, immigrant integration, early childhood education, and higher education. We’ve helped clients across the state understand complex federal policy developments and opportunities and how to leverage them toward their goals. We’ve helped leading tech firms –– and startups –– navigate complex regulatory matters. We’ve worked with the entertainment and media industries to bring greater diversity and inclusion into the sector.

Clients continue to hire us because of our proven track record in translating ambitions into actionable initiatives and impact.
